Overview
Our client, an established bank, is looking to recruit a Senior Credit Risk Analyst within their London office, with hybrid working. The Analyst will work as part of a team to develop Strategy, MI and Analytics using SAS to support Collections and Recoveries across the bank.
Role Responsibilities:
- Supporting the evolution of the Motors Collections & Recoveries Strategies and Policy
- Monitoring and analysing the Retail Collections and Recoveries strategies and providing insight and recommendations
- Maintaining and providing input for relevant Credit Policies and Standards to ensure the delivery of business objectives and alignment with Bank Credit Policies
- Ensuring all credit governance requirements are adhered to
Qualifications and Experience Required:
- Educated to degree standard (or equivalent) in a numerate subject with knowledge of statistical and analytical techniques
- Experience of designing, implementing and monitoring Retail Collections and Recoveries strategies
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, and experience of Microsoft Word and PowerPoint
- Experience of Business Objects / SAS / Alteryx and / or other similar data analytical tools
- Understanding and / or experience of credit scoring, scorecards and scorecard development particularly in a retail environment
- Understanding of UK and ROI regulatory requirements
