Overview

Our client, an established bank, is looking to recruit a Regulatory Governance Manager, based in the West Midlands with hybrid working. This is a first line position within Regulatory Reporting in Finance and is a technical role reporting into the Head of Regulatory Governance.

 

Role Responsibilities:

  • Addressing ad-hoc technical queries with regards to prudential and regulatory reporting
  • Leading the delivery of Pillar 3 disclosures, whilst improving production and formatting
  • Contributing to the delivery of regulatory reporting deep dives by implementing change into regulatory reporting workbooks
  • Providing input on relevant regulatory reporting project work
  • Providing ad hoc cover within BAU regulatory reporting activities
  • Supporting the production of materials for the Regulatory Governance Committee
  • Carrying out detailed testing activity, including review of documentation and technical validation using Excel and VBA
  • Maintaining the company’s compliance standards

 

Qualifications and Experience Required:

  • A degree in a relevant field and an accounting or treasury professional qualification
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel and VBA
  • Previous experience working in Treasury, Finance or Risk within retail banking
  • Experience understanding and interpreting regulatory policy and analysing and processing large volumes of data
  • Previous experience of carrying out detailed testing activity and carrying out technical validation
  • Familiarity with implementing regulatory change, elements of the PRA regulatory framework and experience of IRB regulatory models and reporting requirements
  • Experience writing policy and framework documents
  • Previous experience of delivering Pillar 3 disclosures
  • Experience in change management processes
  • Strong analytical skills with an ability to process, collate and present large volumes of data/findings in a clear and consistent manner
