Overview

Our client, a major financial services firm, is looking to recruit a Senior Manager, Customer Management & Collections Decision Systems in their London office, with hybrid working. The Manager will lead the implementation of credit decision strategies in Provenir, owning the full delivery lifecycle. Their contribution will allow the business to continue to make effective and accurate customer management decisions, as well as support them in their goal of innovating in the consumer credit space.

 

Role Responsibilities:

  • Leading the team with strategy implementation across the products
  • Supporting and driving collaboration between various teams as well as providing consultation to these teams
  • Leading and developing a team of systems specialists in both technical and non-technical abilities, providing advice and knowledge on standard methodology
  • Accountability for the management, planning and prioritisation of customer management and collections implementation end-to-end utilising the Provenir System
  • Driving the analysis of business/technical functional requirements and inputting into the effective solution for pivotal initiatives, new partner on-boarding and business as usual
  • Leading on governance and control for the team, ensuring improvement of the current process and alignment to processes across the wider team
  • Responsibility for working directly with business and operations teams to implement and test business critical strategy improvements
  • Representing the team in key project working groups and communicating progress on projects and BAU changes

 

Skills and Experience

Essential

  • Experience of managing decision systems and infrastructures in a financial services environment
  • Architectural design experience of systems solutions
  • Experience using Credit Risk decision systems such as Provenir, TRIAD, Blaze Advisor or PowerCurve
  • Sound commercial awareness and understanding of the financial services industry
  • Ability to communicate effectively between technical and non-technical individuals
  • Ability to develop junior team members
  • Superb attention to detail and highly organised
  • Solutions focused with creativity, energy and a personal drive to succeed

Desirable

  • Leadership experience, either in line-management or task-based leadership
  • Solid grasp of Provenir Decision system
  • Experience of CRA data
  • Previous experience of large scale systems migrations
